Established in 1972 S.K.H. Crown of Thorns Church Kindergarten is formerly known as ‘S.K.H. Crown of Thorns Church Kindergarten.’ Due to reconstruction work in Texaco Road, the Crown of Thorns Church was demolished with the building of the new Church completed in 2002. Soon after the completion, the kindergarten regained its role as a pre-primary institution, offering quality early childhood education to children in the region. In appreciation of Dr. Kathleen Ko for her support towards early-childhood education, the kindergarten has beem named after her husband. The transliteration「士德」has been adopted in its Chinese name, in which 「士」means scholars, and 「德」means virtue, to wish every of the centre’s children wisdom and high moral qualities.

To deepen children's understanding of traditional Chinese festivals, our school will hold the "Mid-Autumn Festival Fun Day" parent-child activities on September 21 (Senior Class/K3), September 22 (Lower Class/K2), and September 23 (Nursery Class/K1) respectively.
Our school will hold the "Storytelling Parents - Storytelling Corner" Sharing Session on September 19 (Sat).
To help Senior Class children and parents learn more about the environment and curriculum characteristics of primary schools in the neighborhood, visits have been arranged for children and parents to The Church of Christ in China Chuen Yuen Second Primary School on September 9 (Wed), Lutheran Holy Cross School on September 11 (Fri), and The Church of Christ in China Kei Chun Primary School on September 16 (Wed).
Our school will hold a briefing session on "Primary School Sharing and Allocation Mechanism" for 2027/28 Primary 1 Admission on September 5, 2026 (Sat). It aims to introduce the Primary 1 application procedures, the allocation mechanism, and points to note when filling out the application forms to parents.
August 28 (Fri) and August 31 (Mon) are New Student Orientation Game Days. Children are required to wear full school sports uniforms and do not need to bring school bags to school.
